After Liam Gallagher had already released an "Acoustic Sessions" EP with six songs of his MTV unplugged concert in early 2020, but only digitally, the album is finally coming out on CD and vinyl.

"Liam Gallagher: MTV Unplugged (Live At Hull City Hall)" is the title of the recording. The name gives away: The concert was recorded at Hull City Hall in Kingston upon Hull in Yorkshire, England, on August 3, 2019. The British singer, musician and younger of the two Oasis brothers played an approximately one-hour set with a total of ten songs.

Besides his own hits like "Wall of Glass", "Gone" or "Now That I Found You" he also performed the Oasis classics "Champagne Supernova", "Some Might Say" and for the first time ever "Sad Song" as unplugged versions. On stage, Gallagher was supported by the 24-piece Urban Soul Orchestra, and for the Oasis tracks, the band's rhythm guitarist, Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, joined in.
