Rubberband繼續沿用英文字母順序命名，第九張大碟《i》代表「island」或解讀為感歎號「！」，象徵以香港出發，在逆境下每人仍然能令世界為之驚歎。至於封面的大象為設計，則是「瞎子摸象」的概念。
這次專輯首次與爵士大樂隊合作，包括少少爵士味「練習說再見」、swing jazz「每道微小」、騷靈「¿醒未?」、用管樂的Rock「百毒不侵」、幾種民族元素「健兒」，嘗試流行樂與爵士樂中來一場音樂實驗。
