以配樂聞名世界的日本音樂大師久石讓回歸原點的代表作。在悠遊古典與流行之間，身為指揮家，再次自我審視古典音樂，並且以作曲家身份再次挑戰Minimal Music。在大師這張名為「Minima Rhythm」的專輯中，與Post minimal、Postmodern在風格上漸漸改變的Minimal Music，久石讓也將自己在流行樂界所滋養出的旋律感及Groovy感加入其中，成為全新的樂風。從原點的「MKWAJU」樂章到新作「Sinfonia」，久石讓為倫敦交響樂團所有團員寫出樂譜，由倫敦交響樂團演奏完成的錄音之作，再次為大師音樂流傳傑作又添一筆。
