Description
This album was inspired by the hugely successful 'Symphonic Rock' series by the RPO which celebrates it's 10th anniversary in 2014. The orchestra will be touring and featuring many of these Coldplay tracks in their performace. The music was arranged and conducted by Chris Egan. Chris is a highly talented man with many credits to his name including: Theatre credits - the Bodyguard (West End), Crazy for You (Open Air Theatre Regent's Park and West End), Grease (West End and Worldwide tours), Witches of Eastwick, Strictly the Professionals, the Wedding Singer and Love Shack (UK tours), Never Forget (West End and UK tour), Daddy Cool (West End and European tour), Footloose (West End, UK tour, South Africa) and Calamity Jane (West End). Television includes Upstairs Downstairs, Queen's Diamond Jubilee, Royal Variety Performance (2005, 2007 and 2009), 30 Years of An Audience With, Graham Norton's Big Finish, Saturday Night Diva's, Musicool, Cirque de Celebrity, Paul O'Grady Show, Soapstar Superstar, An Audience with Lionel Richie, BBC Proms in the Park, Prince's Trust 30th Anniversary Concert, Chris has written arrangements and performed with many artists including Lionel Richie, Annie Lennox, Lady Gaga, Hayley Westenra, Tony Hatch, Ronan Keating, Michael Ball, Robin Gibb, Dame Shirley Bassey and Leslie Bricusse.
