Locomotive Fat (Chow Yun Fat), Skyscraper Eric (Eric Tsang) and Chicken Noodles (Shing Fai On) are three country bumpkins who come to Hong Kong illegally to rob a bank. But after many misundestandings and occurances Fat finds himself in a high society gathering. There he meets Headman See (Wong Ching), who is wooing Lychee only to be made a fool. Lychee also considers Fat a low creature. With vengeance in heart, See sets out to groom Fat into the greatest lover. The job falls on Anita (Anita Mui) who is more than successful. Fat becomes an instant celebrity. At a chic bash, he makes fun of Lychee and another spoiled beauty...
